IMPORTANT: Rock should be charged for 24 hrs. in direct sunlight before initial use.
1) The first step is to decide where you will be placing your rock. There is 15 ft. of lead wire from the connector to the first light. It is important to place the rock where it will receive the maximum amount of direct sunlight to ensure the longest amount of burn time (figure A).
2) Before installing the light clips in desired area, you need to calculate how much spacing you want between each light. One easy way to do this is to layout your lights on the ground directly in front of the desired area. This way you can adjust the location and spacing between the lights prior to installation.
3) Once you have determined the position of your lights, you can now begin installation. The clips can be inserted into the ground with the push of a thumb (figure B). Solar e-Clips™ can also clip easily onto a variety of other materials such as fences, garden edging, eaves troughs and much more (figure C).
4) If you have installed the lights in the ground, it is necessary to bury the excess wire between the clips, approximately 1-2 inches below the surface.
5) Once you have charged the Power Rock for at least 24 hrs. you can now connect it to the light strand. Be sure to twist the strand connector clockwise until it is tight (figure D).
6) You can now bury the 15 feet of lead wire between the first light and the Solar Rock to complete the installation process.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
The Solar e-Clips™ system will automatically turn itself on and off at dusk and dawn.
Lights may also be grouped together to highlight specific areas or create unique lighting patterns (figure E).
Do not pull on wire between clips as it can result in a loss of connection between the LED and the wire.
